山を愛する人を敵に回したあの事件が起きたのは、タイムリーにも私たちが槍ヶ岳に出かける1週間前のことでした。格好のネタを見つけ、これを持っていかないわけにはいかなくなってしまいました笑
It was just one week before our journey. A famous Japanese noodle company was accused of preventing trekkers from climbing Mt.Yarigatake without obtaining consensus of trekkers and approval from the authority in order to create an advertisement. We had no other option but bringing the instant noodle to the mountain!

山友達2人と訪ねた槍ヶ岳。新穂高温泉から鏡平を通り、西鎌尾根を歩いて槍ヶ岳を目指しました。眼下に雲海を眺めながら、槍が徐々に迫り来る光景に、自然と胸が高鳴ります。今日から何回かに分けて、この感動をレポートします。
I visited Mt.Yarigatake during this autumn vacation with two of my best friends. We started Shin-Hotaka Onsen and headed for the mountain via Kagamidaira plateau and the Sugoroku hut. Our heart was highly beating to see the breathtaking cloud sea and the sharp peak marching toward us. I would report on this trekking experience.

あれは大学４年のときでした。福岡から始発に乗り、コトコト電車に揺られること16時間半、人生で初めて北アルプスに挑戦すべく、松本に降り立ったのでした。上高地から殺生ヒュッテにたどり着いたときには、持病の高山病に苦しめられましたが、翌朝槍ヶ岳山荘から見た、朝日を受けて輝く槍の穂先はまさに神々しいという表現がふさわしく、雲海の上に突き出る峻険な峰を何度も、何度も仰ぎみたのでした。あの感動をもう一度！今回は新穂高温泉から西鎌尾根経由で槍ヶ岳を目指します。迫り来る槍ーさぞカッコいいのでしょう。感動を胸に、いざ、槍ヶ岳へ！
It was in the summer vacation right before graduating the University. 16-hour ride on local trains brought me up to Matsumoto, Nagano, with a view to challenging the North Alps for the first time in my life. I suffered from terrible headache caused by alpine disease; however, I was so impressed to see the great summit of Mt. Yarigatake shining in red was so-called holy. I looked up again and again the sword-like summit. I do challenge the mountain again from Shin-Hotaka Onsen this time, via Nishikama-route.

不帰のキレットでライチョウの営巣地を発見、なんとなんと、つがいが穴を掘っているではありませんか！！なんという偶然！あまりの愛くるしさに、私たちは足を止めてその姿に見入ったのでした。
We found a nest of thunderbird at the Kaerazu gap. A pair of thunderbirds vigorously digging the ground to make a nest. Such precious scene can be rarely seen. The lovely creatures prevented us from making a move for a while.
白馬岳にシロウマ現る!? vol.6 [もう一度歩きたい！]
なんと贅沢な瞬間！栂池の地酒を白馬で堪能できるとは！
と書き始めたいところですが、こんな勢いで飲んだら不帰のキレットを歩きたくなくなるので自粛します。それにしても、もう７月も半ばだというのに、雪原が広がる天狗池。どっしりと聳える白馬連峰を眺めながらのお散歩は感動の連続です。
Supurb! What a great happiness to enjoy the Shirouma local sake at Shirouma!
It's just a kidding. I refrain from drinking alcohol before attacking the Kaerazu gap. It is already in the middle of July, but the Tengu lake is surrounded by thick snow. The gorgeous scenery cannot make us feel bored.
白馬岳にシロウマ現る!? vol.5 [もう一度歩きたい！]
4:40 a.m. 白馬岳よりご来光ー。夢にまで見たこの瞬間。眼下には雲海が広がり、雲上にどっしりと聳える白馬岳の肩から、眩しい朝日が差し込みます。テントを撤収するときにちょっとしたアクシデントがあり、500 mLの早朝ビールをいただいた私。2日目は不帰ノ劔を通って、唐松山荘を目指します。
4:40 a.m. The sun came out from the shoulder of Mt.Shirouma. It was as if I were still dreaming. The massive peak stood out on breathtaking cloud sea. I was completely impressed to see such a gorgeous scenery with a morning beer. Today, we would head for Mt.Karamatsu via Kaerazu pass.
白馬岳にシロウマ現る!? vol.4 [もう一度歩きたい！]
コマクサ発見！ここは白馬大池から小蓮華山方面に少し歩いたところ。高山植物の中でも、ほかの植物が育たないような、風が強い岩場でしか見ることができない貴重な花で、その可憐な姿に魅了される登山ファンは少なくありません。私もそんな1人。厳しい環境でも力強く咲く高山植物の女王、コマクサに、元気がもらえる気がします。さて、今日は憧れの白馬岳を目指します。
Komakusa, Dicentra peregrina, was seen on the ridge from Hakuba-Oike to Mt. Korenge. The alpine flower can be rarely seen even in high mountains because it grows under such a severe environment as no other creature can make a life. Plenty of mountain afficionados are fascinated with the tiny, lovely flower, and I am not the exception. I feel like I gain power from the flower. Today I would report on the way to Mt. Shirouma.
白馬岳にシロウマ現る!? vol.2 [もう一度歩きたい！]
目が覚めればそこは緑の中－さわやか信州号のうたい文句の通り、目が覚めたら八方ゴンドラ前でした。雲はあるものの、後立山峰の稜線を垣間見ることができます。今日は栂池から白馬大池を通り、白馬岳に登ります。去年は嵐のため小蓮華岳までしかいなかったのですが、今年こそは気合を入れて－ちょっと入れ方を間違ったかもしれませんが－珍獣を一匹連れて行くことにしました。
Once awake, then you are in green -- the catch copy was found to be true. At Hakuba Gondra station, we could partially see the ridge of the Ushiro-Tateyama mountain range, although clouds occupied the sky. Today, we will attack Mt. Shirouma via Hakuba-Oike lake. Last year the heavy rain prevented us from making a move at the lake, so this year we took a funny animal with us to make a wish for beautiful weather.

あの日からもう1年経つかと思うと、月日が流れるのは本当に早いものです。白馬大池ではじめての沈殿を経験したのは去年の7月の3連休でした。沈殿とは山用語で風雨等のため、1日中テントで過ごすことを指します。4人用のテントに大の男4人が入り、風が吹くたびに両手両足を使ってテントを支え続けました。土砂降りのため、テントはウォーターベッド状態。おまけにわれわれの酒樽はビールで満たされているわけですから、こちらもたっぷんたっぷん。寝る分には快適さこの上ありません。さて、今年の山歩きは果たしてどうなるのでしょうか。
Time flies. One year has passed since I experienced a stay in the tent without making a move whole day for the first time in my life. Four of us were forced to hold the instant accommodation because of the stormy weather. Even the thin layer seemed to be like a waterbed. In addition, our stomach was filled with magic water. Nothing was more comfortable than the time we spent there. Can we enjoy the magnificent scenery this time!?
